We bought chalet Rosa to provide our family with a holiday
home to escape the stresses and strains of modern life. We
have equipped it with luxurious white Egyptian cotton linens,
English high quality duvets and pillows, Christy towels and all
the mod cons we always wanted when going on holiday but were
never sure of finding, especially hot water in a ski chalet!.
We spend our most happy days skiing in the winter and enjoying
the beautiful alpine life is the summer.
After a great days skiing we love to be able to visit the local
restaurants for a Raclette or Pierre Chaud, kick back and laze
on the sofas and watch a good DVD or sit round the table playing
cards into the early hours.
During the summer we love to take our children to the local
swimming pool in Grand Bornand or pack a picnic and take to the
great out doors. A day out to Lake Annecy is always great fun
with swimming, waterslides, pedaloes and some great rollerblading.
During the evenings we love to sit on the balcony with a glass or
two of cold white wine, a plate of local delicacies, a good book,
a pair of binoculars or a pack of cards.
