Situated in Chinaillon, Le Grand Bornand, a beautiful traditional Alpine village
close to La Clusaz, Chamonix, Megève, Mont Blanc and Lake Annecy. Chalet Rosa is
a modern fully equipped timber chalet built in the traditional Savoie style. It sleeps up
to 9 people in 4 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms and has a sunny south facing balcony
with fabulous mountain views.
In winter Ski, snowboard or cross country ski on or off-piste in an uncrowded,
well-established fully linked ski resort with over 220km of marked runs. The area has
a fantastic snow record from mid December to late April and the resort has invested
heavily in new lifts and snow canons.
In summer relax on the sun trap balcony which offers uninterrupted views of the
dramatic mountain range that surrounds the chalet and choose from the many activities
available locally. gentle or challenging walks, cycling (the Tour de France has a
finishing stage here this summer), mountain biking, paragliding, pony trekking and
climbing. In Grand Bornand there is a fabulous open air swimming pool with safe
toddler area and at Lake Annecy there are a range of water sports and beach areas.
There are many outdoor festivals during the summer, from lakeside classical music and
fireworks to "Le Bonheur Des Momes" one of the biggest children’s festivals in Europe.
