Chalet Rosa is a fully equipped modern chalet built of wood in the
traditional style giving it a classic mountain look. It is fully
centrally heated with under floor heating and wall heaters. The property is
managed by a local English management company who are on hand to provide
advice and information.
On the ground floor there is a garage with freezer and a well-equipped
laundry room with washing machine and separate tumble drier. There is
a bedroom with a set of bunk beds and a pull out single bed (sleeps 3),
a TV, video and Playstation 1. Next to it is a shower room with a basin
and WC.
The first floor is a large open plan room with separate areas for
cooking, eating and relaxing. There is also a separate WC in the hallway.
The fully fitted kitchen has a hob with extractor, oven, microwave,
fridge, dishwasher and cooking utensils.
The dining area has a table and chairs with sets of glass, crockery and
cutlery for 9 people.
The sitting room is furnished with modern sofas There is a TV which
receives English Satellite TV, a DVD player, a CD Hi-Fi as well as books
and games.
French doors lead out onto the South and West facing balcony at the front
of the chalet with beautiful views to the ski slopes and the Aravis, there
is a large wooden table and chairs.
On the second floor there are 3 bedrooms; a double room with a South-facing
balcony (sleeps 2), a twin bedded room where the beds can be zipped together
to form a king size double (sleeps 2) and a smaller twin-bedded room (sleeps
2). There is also a bathroom with a bath and basin.
All bed linen and bath towels are supplied. The bed linen is white Egyptian
cotton and we use non-allergic English duvets and pillows.
The chalet has a travel cot, wooden high chair, microwave steam steriliser
and portable stair gate.
By Air It’s only 50 minutes transfer to Chalet Rosa from Geneva. Easy jet,
Flybe, BA Swiss and BM all fly into Geneva. There are numerous car hire companies
at the airport including EASY CAR, AVIS and SIXT (always collect car from SWISS
Side).
By Road Chalet Rosa is 497 miles from the channel tunnel. To find full directions
